NIMH an NIDA have offered to support the travel & hotel costs for trainees to attend the Kappa-St. Louis Conference. The application due date is January 31, 2025. Both US and International Trainees are welcome to apply.

Please submit the following information as a single PDF to cchavkin@uw.edu by the deadline. Use “KappaCon 2025 Travel Award” as the subject line.

1. A complete draft copy of your abstract (the final abstract must be separately submitted by the February 15 deadline) (1-page max)

2. A brief letter of support from the mentor explaining how this award will benefit the trainee (1-page max)

3. A brief statement from the trainee about how attending the conference will enhance their professional development (1-page max)

The applications will be ranked by the Program Committee. Priority will be based on the quality of the abstract. We strive to achieve sex and ethnic diversity, and priority will also be given to participants whose travel expenses would otherwise be prohibitive.
